What we repair

If it is a domestic appliance and it has stopped doing its job, it is on this list. Pick yours to see the common faults and book a slot, or use the form above and we will price it for you straight away.

Washing Machine Repairs

Most washing machines under ten years old are worth repairing — bearings, pumps and door seals are all routine jobs that cost far less than a new machine.

Washing Machine help

Fridge & Freezer Repairs

A fridge that has stopped getting cold is usually a fan, thermostat or gas fault rather than a write-off. We can normally tell you on the phone whether it is worth the visit.

Fridge & Freezer help

Dishwasher Repairs

Dishwashers that will not drain or fill are among the cheapest appliances to put right — often a blocked pump or a failed valve.

Dishwasher help

Oven Repairs

An oven that will not heat is usually an element or thermostat. Both are stocked parts and normally a single-visit fix.

Cooker Repairs

Electric cookers are well worth repairing — elements, switches and thermostats are inexpensive and we carry the common ones.

Tumble Dryer Repairs

Dryers that will not heat or tumble are usually a thermostat, belt or capacitor — all quick, low-cost repairs.

Freezer Repairs

A freezer that has stopped freezing is often a fan or defrost fault. Worth a look before you lose another load of food.

Washer Dryer Repairs

Washer dryers do more work than either machine alone, so wear parts go sooner — but they are the same routine repairs.

Electric & Induction Hob Repairs

Induction and ceramic hobs are usually a control board or a single failed zone rather than a whole-unit replacement.

Cooker Hood & Extractor Repairs

Extractors that have gone noisy or stopped pulling are nearly always a motor or a clogged filter housing.

One price, whatever it is

We are not a call centre and we are not a national franchise. We are a local firm with over 50 years in the trade, and the engineer who comes to you is one of ours.

Every visit across the East Midlands is the same fixed price — £66 including VAT to diagnose the fault, £84 all-in if we put it right on the spot. Nothing is taken when you book and no part is fitted without your say-so.

£66 inc VAT — diagnosis

A qualified engineer comes out, finds the fault and tells you exactly what is wrong and what it will take to put right.

£84 inc VAT — fixed on the spot

If we can fix it there and then without needing a part, that is the total. Nothing else to pay.

Parts

Any parts needed are quoted on site before we fit them — you decide. We do not fit anything, or charge for anything, without your say-so first.

Guaranteed

Every repair carries a 90-day workmanship guarantee. If our work is at fault within that time, we come back and put it right at no charge to you.

What our customers say

Simon was incredibly helpful, we had a different trader out initially who after 3 hours was unable to repair anything in regards to our washing machine. Simon was able to squeeze us in the following day on really short notice, and was with us a lot earlier than initially quoted and was able to repair the washing machine in less than half an hour. He was incredibly professional and competent and left our kitchen clean and tidy and even corrected some mistakes behind the washing machine in terms of an unnecessary extension pipe. The price is so agreeable also, will use him for any other appliance issues we may have and would recommend him to anyone who asks.
Simon was quick to respond and fixed our washing machine on the same day. Professional, friendly, and great value for money. Highly recommended!
Super responsive and great communication. My washing machine was fixed within a couple of hours, and the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended, particularly in the Nottinghamshire area.
