What E19 actually means

What E19 looks like on a Hisense cooker hood

- Cooking on maximum power for a long stretch, or a pan boiled dry
- Heat trapped because the hob's own ventilation is restricted by the way it has been fitted into the worktop or cabinet
- Less often, a temperature sensor or control board reading high when the hob is not actually overheating
