What F11 actually means

The machine can't see the drain pump electrically at all, so it stops with a drum full of water.

F11 is a drain pump circuit fault. What usually causes it

Failed drain pump motor winding (open circuit)
Loose or corroded connection at the pump
Damaged wiring between the board and the pump
Fault on the main control board's pump output

What you can safely check yourself

Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.

Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, then back on, in case the reading was a one-off
Clean the pump filter behind the flap at the bottom front and clear any debris \u2014 machine unplugged first
Check the waste hose isn't kinked or pushed too far into the standpipe
Set a drain or spin-only programme to see whether the water clears at all
