What H07 actually means
The dishwasher isn't getting the water hot the way it expects, so it has stopped the programme and flagged a heater fault.

If it doesn't rise as expected — or rises when it shouldn't — the board logs H07 and abandons the cycle rather than carrying on with cold water. In practice you'll often find the machine has run for a while, then stopped with dishes still greasy and the inside barely warm.
What H07 looks like on a Leisure dishwasher
Most people find this page having searched for what the machine is doing rather than the code itself. On a Leisure dishwasher, H07 usually shows up as one or more of these:
- Dishes coming out cold and wet
- Not drying the load
- Water not heating up
- No function at all
- Dead — nothing lights up

What usually causes it
- Failed water heating element in the wash circuit
- Faulty temperature sensor giving the board a false reading
- Poor water circulation over the heater, so it never sees the heat
- Control board no longer reading or switching the heater correctly
- Wiring or connection fault at the heater
What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, then power it up and start a fresh programme — occasionally the fault clears and doesn't return.
- Clean the filters in the base of the tub and make sure nothing is blocking the spray arms, so water can circulate freely.
- Check the dishwasher isn't overloaded and that large items aren't stopping the lower spray arm turning.
