What H02 actually means
The dishwasher can no longer get a sensible reading from the sensor that judges how dirty the wash water is.
Beko's control board uses a turbidity sensor to see how much soil is coming off the dishes and adjust the wash and rinse accordingly. H02 is the code it logs when that sensor's signal is missing or outside the range the board expects, and the machine flags it rather than carry on guessing. On this generation of Beko machines the fault is one of the conditions listed in the service test routine, so it is read out and cleared through the service functional test rather than by anything on the front panel.
What H02 looks like on a Beko dishwasher
Most people find this page having searched for what the machine is doing rather than the code itself. On a Beko dishwasher, H02 usually shows up as one or more of these:
- Dishwasher not draining
- Water left in the tub at the end of the cycle
- Stops mid-cycle full of water
- Standing water in the bottom
- No function at all
- Dead — nothing lights up
- Lights flashing and nothing happening
- Programme won't start

What usually causes it
- The turbidity sensor itself has failed or become fouled
- Heavy soil, grease or limescale coating the sensor so it cannot read the water
- A loose or corroded connection between the sensor and the control board
- A fault on the control board side reading the sensor signal
What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, then switch back on and start a normal programme — a one-off glitch will often not return
- Take out and rinse the filters in the base of the tub, and clear any food debris from the sump area you can reach by hand
- Run a hot programme with a dishwasher cleaner or an empty machine to shift grease build-up inside the tub
- Check the salt and rinse aid are topped up and the correct water hardness has been set, so the machine is not washing in badly limed water
