What H03 actually means
The dishwasher has lost track of the three-way valve that switches water between the upper and lower spray arms, so it stops the programme rather than carry on washing blind.
Beko's control board expects a position signal back from the three-way diverter valve as it switches the flow between the top and bottom spray arms. When that signal doesn't arrive, or reports the valve sitting somewhere it shouldn't be, the machine flags H03 and halts. It is a genuine hardware fault code from Beko's own service test list, not a warning you can wash your way through o properly.
What H03 looks like on a Beko dishwasher
Most people find this page having searched for what the machine is doing rather than the code itself. On a Beko dishwasher, H03 usually shows up as one or more of these:
- Dishwasher not draining
- Water left in the tub at the end of the cycle
- Stops mid-cycle full of water
- Standing water in the bottom
- Tub not turning
- Won't spin
- Hums or buzzes but nothing moves
- Turns one way only

What usually causes it
- The three-way valve motor or its position switch has failed
- A wiring or connector fault between the valve and the control board
- Debris or scale jamming the valve so it can't reach its position
- A fault on the control board itself, misreading the position signal
What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, then back on, and start a short programme — an occasional one-off read error can clear
- Check both spray arms spin freely by hand and that the little holes in them aren't blocked
- Take out and rinse the filters in the base, and clear any debris from the sump area you can reach by hand
