What E25 actually means
The control board is getting a signal it doesn't believe from the machine's anti-flood (aqua control) sensing circuit, so it pumps out the water and abandons the cycle as a precaution.
On this Electrolux washer dryer the board constantly monitors the aqua-control sensing input, which is there to catch an overfill or leak. When the signal coming back doesn't make sense, the board assumes it can no longer trust its own flood protection, runs a safety drain and stops with the door unlocked rather than carrying on and risking water on your floor. It is a sensing fault rather than proof that water is actually escaping — but the machine has no way of telling the difference, which is why it shuts the cycle down.

- Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, switch it back on and start a short cycle — a one-off glitch will sometimes clear
- Look under and behind the machine for any sign of water on the floor before you run it again; if there is water, leave it switched off
- Check the drain hose isn't kinked or trapped behind the machine, so the safety drain can actually empty the drum
- Clean the pump filter and make sure the door shuts properly on its catch
