What F08 actually means
The dishwasher has lost the electrical connection to the diverter valve — the part that switches water between the upper and lower spray arms — so it stops rather than run a wash it can't control.
Haden dishwashers of this type use a diverter to send the pump's water to the top basket, then the bottom, alternating through the cycle. F08 is reported when the control board sees an open circuit on that diverter, meaning it either can't drive the valve or gets no position feedback from it. Because the machine can no longer tell where the water is going, it halts and blinks the lights instead of continuing.

- Check the upper and lower spray arms spin freely by hand and aren't blocked by cutlery or a tall item; a jammed arm won't cause this code, but it rules out an obvious wash problem while you wait.
- Clean the filter in the base — worth doing anyway before an engineer visits.
