What is actually happening
A washer dryer dries by condensing moisture against a flow of cold water rather than venting it, so drying depends on both the heater and the cold water supply working. Lint has nowhere to go in a machine that has no filter you can reach, so it collects internally — and on some makes that shows up as a specific fault code rather than simply poor drying.
The Haden fault codes that point at this
A Haden washer dryer will usually tell you what it thinks is wrong before anyone opens it up. These are the codes we hold for this make that relate to not drying:
- E00 — E00 isn't a fault — it's the machine telling you its error log is empty, with no stored fault codes to report.
- E01 — The machine hasn't taken in enough water within the time it allows, so it has stopped rather than carry on with a part-filled drum.
- E05 — The machine has stopped because the drum motor isn't running, or isn't reporting back that it's running.
- E06 — The machine has decided the water heater isn't behaving as it should, so it stops rather than carry on with a wash it can't heat.
- E07 — The machine can no longer trust the reading from its temperature sensor, so it halts rather than heat the water or the drying air blind.

The usual causes on a Haden washer dryer

- A failed drying element or heat pump, depending on the model
