What F14 actually means
The machine has finished with the door locked and the lock won't release, so the door stays shut and the cycle stops.
On these Hisense washer-dryers the door is held shut by an electric interlock all through the wash and dry. F14 means the control board has told that interlock to release and had no confirmation that it has — the door reads as closed and still locked. The machine halts rather than carry on, because it has no reliable way of knowing whether the door is secured.
What F14 looks like on a Hisense tumble dryer
Most people find this page having searched for what the machine is doing rather than the code itself. On a Hisense tumble dryer, F14 usually shows up as one or more of these:

What usually causes it
- Worn or sticking door interlock that no longer releases
- Door catch or hinge out of line, so the lock is under strain and can't let go
- Load pressed hard against the door from inside
- Control board not getting the release signal back from the lock
- Damp or heat around the lock from a long drying cycle affecting it
What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Turn the appliance off at the socket, leave it a minute, then switch back on — the lock often releases on the restart and this is what the manual asks you to do first
- Press gently inwards on the door while it restarts, in case laundry inside is pushing it open against the catch
- Look through the glass — if there is still water in the drum, leave the door alone and call an engineer rather than trying to force it
- Don't pull or lever the door open; on these models that bends the catch and turns a lock fault into a hinge and door repair as well
