What E15 actually means

The machine has lost a sensible reading from its flowmeter — the small sensor that counts how much water is going in — so it stops rather than fill blind.

On this Blomberg the flowmeter sits on the water inlet and sends a pulse signal to the control board so the machine knows exactly how much water it has taken. E15 is logged when that signal reads as either a short circuit or a complete open circuit, so the board cannot trust the volume it is being told. Because the fill quantity is the basis for the rest of the programme, the machine halts instead of continuing.

Check the water tap is fully open and the inlet hose is not kinked or trapped behind the machine
Make sure the mesh filter in the inlet hose connection at the tap end is not blocked with grit
