What F09 actually means
The control board has lost the ability to switch the door lock on and off properly, so the machine stops mid-cycle rather than carry on.
The fault notes put F09 down to an open circuit in the door lock switching circuit on the main control board \door interlock triac). Because the machine can't be sure the door is safely held shut, it abandons the programme. The usual picture the owner sees is a stopped machine with water still in the drum and washing that is soaking wet with detergent still on it.
What F09 looks like on a Blomberg washing machine

- Turn the machine off at the wall, leave it a minute, then switch back on and try a short programme — an occasional one-off glitch will clear
- Check nothing is trapped in the door seal and the door closes with a firm click rather than springing back
- If the drum still holds water, don't force the door; the interlock stays engaged while water is present
