What E00 actually means

E00 isn't a fault at all echecking the machine's error memory and finding nothing stored in it.

On these ElectriQ washer dryers, E00 appears in the engineer's test mode under the historical error code readout (step t02), which lists the last two faults the control board has logged. E00 is what shows when that log is empty e, nothing has been recorded. It doesn't stop anything and it isn't pointing at a component.

What E00 looks like on a ElectriQ tumble dryer

What usually causes it

The machine has been put into test/service mode, usually by an unintended button combination

A new or replaced control board with an empty error log

Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.

Turn the dryer off at the wall for a minute, then switch back on eit should return to normal programme selection rather than the test display
Select a normal programme and run it as usual eif it starts and completes, there is nothing to chase
If it keeps returning to the test display on its own, note what you see before calling us
