E18 is a BioFresh fan error. The board watches that fan's feedback signal and, if the fan doesn't spin or reports back incorrectly, it logs the fault and shows the code. Airflow to the BioFresh drawers is what keeps them at their controlled temperature, so the usual symptom is salad and meat drawers drifting warmer while the rest of the fridge still feels cold enough.

Take out the BioFresh drawer contents and check nothing is pushed up against the vents at the back of the compartment — packaging blocking airflow is a common cause of a stalled fan
Look for frost or ice building up around the vents; heavy frost usually points to a door not sealing, so check the seal is clean and the door catches shut properly
Switch off at the wall for a minute and back on — if the fan was only briefly obstructed, the fault can clear itself
If ice is visible, emptying the appliance and letting it defrost fully with the doors open for a few hours will tell you whether the fan frees up afterwards
