What E32 actually means

The machine can't get a sensible temperature reading from the sensor in the drying air duct, so it won't run the drying part of the cycle properly.

These Grundig washer-dryers use an NTC temperature sensor in the heater duct to watch the air temperature after the condenser. If the control board reads a value outside the expected range — typically because the circuit has gone open or short, rather than because the machine is actually too hot — it flags E32. The usual complaints are that the programme runs on far longer than it should and the load comes out still damp at the end.

Switch off at the wall for a minute, then power up and try again — an occasional one-off reading will clear
Run a wash-only programme with no drying selected; if that completes normally, it confirms the fault sits in the drying side and the machine is still usable for washing in the meantime
