Hisense groups everything from F04 up to F98 under one heading: an electronic module fault. On this washer dryer that means the main control board has either detected a problem it can't put a more specific name to, or has lost proper communication with one of the parts it drives, so it stops the programme where it stands rather than carrying on. Unlike the codes with their own descriptions — water fill, drainage, door lock — the manual gives no owner-level check for this group, because there is nothing on the outside of the machine that causes it.

What usually causes it

A fault on the main control board itself

What you can safely check yourself

Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.

Turn the machine off at the wall socket, leave it for a minute or so, then switch back on and start a cycle — a one-off electronic glitch will sometimes clear and not return
Make sure the door is properly shut and nothing is caught in the seal before restarting
If the code comes straight back, or comes back on the next wash, stop there — there is nothing further an owner can safely check for this one
