What E19 actually means

The machine has found a fault with its Pyrojet system — the part that sprays water through the drum and detergent — and has stopped the programme.

Pyrojet is the pump and spray arrangement that pushes water back through the detergent and onto the load to help it soak in. The control board has checked that circuit, not got the response it expects, and shut the wash down rather than run without it. The manufacturer lists this as a fault requiring service attention, not something adjustable from the controls.

Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, then switch back on and start a short programme — occasional one-off glitches clear this way
Check the water tap is fully open and the fill hose is not kinked or trapped behind the machine
Clean the detergent drawer thoroughly, as caked powder and softener sludge can block the spray path
Clean the pump filter at the bottom front of the machine (follow the instruction book) once the drum has drained and cooled
