What E31 actually means

The machine has lost a sensible reading from one of the temperature sensors in the drying condenser, so it won't dry the load.

This code only appears on Beko washer-dryers. The control board watches temperature sensors (NTCs) in the condenser that handles the drying air; when one of them reads as an open or short circuit, the board cannot control drying heat safely. The wash and spin normally finish as normal, but the programme ends with the load still wet.
