What E14 actually means
One of the fridge freezer's internal cooling fans has stopped giving the control board the signal it expects, so the board has flagged it as faulty.
The fault for this board lists E14 as a fan error — specifically the fan serving one of the cabinet's temperature-controlled compartments, not the freezer fan (that one logs E13) or the condenser fan (E15). These fans report their speed back to the control board; if the board sees no feedback, or a speed well outside what it asked for, it logs the code. What you notice first is usually uneven cooling — one compartment drifting warmer while the rest of the appliance seems normal — and often the absence of the usual faint fan noise when the compressor is running.

Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Take out any packets, boxes or bags sitting against the back or side vents inside the compartment — blocked airflow is the most common innocent cause
- Look for frost or a block of ice near the vents at the back of the compartment; if there is a lot, empty the appliance and let it defrost fully with the door open before switching back on
- Check the door is closing and sealing properly and that the seal is clean, as warm air getting in causes ice to build where the fan runs
- Turn it off at the wall for a minute, then back on — if the fan is now running normally the code should clear
