What E19 actually means

The fridge has lost a proper reading from the temperature sensor that governs its air-flow flap, so it can no longer control how much cold air goes into that compartment.

Blomberg's control board watches a set of sensors, and E19 is logged against the flap (air damper) air sensor — the probe that tells the board how cold the air is in the flap-controlled compartment. When the reading goes out of range or drops out altogether, the board can't decide when to open or close the flap, so it flags the fault and falls back on a fixed run pattern instead of proper temperature control. The compressor and fan keep working, so the appliance stays cold, but the affected compartment can end up too warm or too cold and the display keeps showing the code.

Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.

Turn the appliance off at the wall for a minute, then back on — the fault is re-tested on power-up and clears itself if the sensor reading has returned to normal
Make sure food and packaging aren't pressed against the internal air vents inside the cabinet
Check the door is closing fully and the seal isn't folded over, as constant warm air ingress makes temperature faults harder to read
Use a fridge thermometer to see whether the compartment is actually holding temperature while you wait for an engineer
