What F07 actually means
The machine thinks it cannot get a trustworthy reading of the water level in the drum, so it empties itself and refuses to start a programme.
F07 comes from the water level (pressure) sensor circuit — the part that tells the control board how much water is in the tub. Because the board cannot confirm the level is safe, it takes the cautious route: it runs the pump and drains every time you switch on, and the programme never gets going. On machines fitted with the Aquastop system, the same code can be raised after water is detected where it shouldn't be, so the safety valve shuts the supply off.
What F07 looks like on a Blomberg washing machine

What usually causes it
- The water level sensor has failed or is giving a false reading

What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, switch back on and see whether it still drains straight away — that tells the engineer whether the fault is permanent
- Look underneath and behind the machine for any sign of water on the floor, and check the fill hose connections at the tap aren't weeping
- Make sure the drain hose isn't kinked or trapped behind the machine
