Candy E06 washing machine: what it means & what to check

What E06 actually means

The machine's main control board has lost or corrupted the settings stored in its memory, so it won't run a cycle.

Candy machines store their programme data in a memory chip (the EEPROM) on the main power board — the board Candy call the "Cuore" card. When the board can't read that data back correctly, it flags E06 and halts rather than running a programme it can't trust. It usually shows up straight away on switch-on or as soon as you press start, rather than part-way through a wash.

What E06 looks like on a Candy washing machine

Turn the machine off at the wall socket, leave it for a minute, then switch it back on — an occasional glitch clears on a full power-down
If it clears, run a short cycle and watch whether the code returns; a code that comes straight back is a board fault, not a glitch
