What F03 actually means
The dishwasher has spotted water still flowing into the machine when the fill valve should be shut, so it has stopped the programme rather than risk overfilling.
These New World dishwashers count water in with a flowmeter. If the control board has switched the inlet valve off but the flowmeter keeps registering flow past a set amount, it flags F03 and abandons the cycle. In practice you may see it happen part-way through a wash, sometimes with more water in the tub than there should be, and the drain pump may run to clear it.
What F03 looks like on a New World dishwasher
Most people find this page having searched for what the machine is doing rather than the code itself. On a New World dishwasher, F03 usually shows up as one or more of these:

What usually causes it
- Inlet valve not closing fully, so water trickles in unchecked
- Grit or scale holding the valve open
- Faulty flowmeter giving false readings
- Control board not switching the valve off
What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Turn the dishwasher off at the wall socket for a minute, then switch back on and restart a short programme — a one-off glitch will clear.
- If water keeps entering the machine while it is switched off, turn the water supply tap behind or under the unit to the off position.
- Check the drain hose is not kinked or trapped behind the machine, so any water that does get in can be pumped away.
- Clean the filter in the base and make sure the sump is clear of debris.
