What is actually happening

A flashing light is a fault code being reported in the only way the machine can. On most makes the pattern of flashes or the code shown identifies the fault precisely, and the two most common are a drain fault and the anti-flood float. Note the code before switching anything off — it is the quickest route to the right diagnosis.

The Beko fault codes that point at this

A Beko dishwasher will usually tell you what it thinks is wrong before anyone opens it up. These are the codes we hold for this make that relate to lights flashing:

• H02 — The dishwasher can no longer get a sensible reading from the sensor that judges how dirty the wash water is.
• H03 — The dishwasher has lost track of the three-way valve that switches water between the upper and lower spray arms, so it stops the programme rather than carry on washing blind.
• H04 — The dishwasher can no longer read the water temperature, so it has stopped rather than carry on blind.
• H06 — The dishwasher isn't getting the water it expects, so it has halted rather than trying to wash with an empty tub.
• H07 — The dishwasher has given up trying to heat the water and has stopped the cycle.
