What is actually happening
A washer dryer dries by condensing moisture against a flow of cold water rather than venting it, so drying depends on both the heater and the cold water supply working. Lint has nowhere to go in a machine that has no filter you can reach, so it collects internally — and on some makes that shows up as a specific fault code rather than simply poor drying.
The Electrolux fault codes that point at this
A Electrolux washer dryer will usually tell you what it thinks is wrong before anyone opens it up. These are the codes we hold for this make that relate to not drying:
- C01 — On this Electrolux washer dryer, C01 isn't a breakdown hness setting on its lowest step, or the first step of the engineer's diagnostic routine.
- C02 — C02 isn't a breakdown ing code ing code \service own service test mode.
- C11 — C11 isn't a fault \ostic \ it's the position in Electrolux's engineer diagnostic menu that plays back the machine's last three stored error codes.
- E12 — The machine tried to take in water at the start of the drying part of the cycle, didn't get enough within the time allowed, and paused with the door locked.
- E25 — The control board is getting a signal it doesn't believe from the machine's anti-flood (aqua control) sensing circuit, so it pumps out the water and abandons the cycle as a precaution.
- E31 — The sensor that tells the machine how much water is inside has stopped sending a sensible reading, so the wash is halted.
- E32 — The machine cannot get a steady reading from its water level sensor at the start of the cycle, so it stops rather than risk filling blind.
- E34 — The dryer's moisture-sensing circuit isn't giving a sensible reading, so the machine can't tell how wet your washing is.
