What E00 actually means
On Beko tumble dryers, E00 isn't a fault at all \u9000 it's the code the control board shows when it has found nothing wrong.
Beko's dryer error list starts at E00 meaning "no error", with the actual faults numbered above it (door opened during the cycle, water tank full, empty drum and so on). So if E00 appears when you enter the diagnostic or error display, the electronics are reporting a clean bill of health. If the dryer is nonetheless misbehaving, the problem is one the control board doesn't monitor \u9000 poor drying, long cycles, noise \u9000 rather than a logged electrical fault.
What usually causes it
- Nothing wrong \u9000 the dryer is reporting no stored fault
- A previous fault that has since cleared itself after a power cycle
- An entry into the service/error display rather than a genuine breakdown
- A drying or airflow complaint the board cannot detect, such as a blocked filter or condenser
What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Clean the door filter and, on condenser models, rinse the condenser filter as the manual describes
- Empty the water tank and check the drain hose, if fitted, isn't kinked
- Switch off at the wall for a minute, then restart a short cycle to see if the dryer runs normally
- Check the door shuts firmly and the seal is free of fluff
