What E75 actually means

One of the machine's temperature sensors is giving a reading the control board doesn't trust, so it has switched the heating off and carried on without it.

Electrolux washer dryers use small temperature sensors (NTCs) to watch the water and the drying air. If the voltage coming back from one of them falls outside the expected range, or the temperature fails to climb by the expected amount within the expected time during a heating stage, the board flags it and skips the heating. The machine will still turn and still pump, but the load comes out cold and, on a drying programme, damp \u2014 and this alarm won't clear by switching the machine off at the wall.

A heating element that isn't heating, so the temperature never rises and the board blames the sensor
A control board fault reading the sensor circuit incorrectly

What you can safely check yourself

Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.

Reset the current programme, or press start/pause once the cycle has finished \u2014 that is the only way this particular alarm clears. Turning the machine off and on again will not do it.
Run a short wash and see whether the water gets warm at all. If it never heats, that is worth telling the engineer.
On a drying programme, make sure the load isn't overpacked and the filter is clean, so airflow isn't the reason the temperature doesn't climb.
