Electrolux F07 dishwasher: what it means & what to check

What F07 actually means

The dishwasher isn't heating the water the way it should, and the control board has stopped the cycle rather than carry on.

During the heating part of the programme the machine watches the water temperature climb. If it doesn't rise as expected within the expected period, or if the reading comes back abnormally high, the board treats the heating circuit as unreliable and flags F07. On models without a display you'll see the End light flashing seven times instead of a code.

Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.

Turn the dishwasher off at the wall for a minute, switch back on and start a short programme — this clears a one-off glitch and confirms whether the fault is permanent
Feel the dishes at the end of a cycle: cold, wet plates alongside the code point firmly at the heating side rather than a random error
Make sure the machine is actually being allowed to complete a cycle rather than being interrupted mid-programme
