What F29 actually means

F29 comes from the Smart Board — the board that measures conditions inside the cavity during an automatic (sensor-guided) programme. When its analogue-to-digital measuring section returns values outside the range it can accept, it flags a fault to the user interface, which sends a system-off command and puts F29 on the display straight away. The message stays there until you switch the appliance off, and it only appears while a Smart Function is actually running — during the checking, ambient-measuring or heat-up stages.

If the appliance has recently been used heavily for steam or has been in an unheated room, leave it powered off with the door open for a few hours to dry out, then retry
