Electrolux F94 microwave: what it means & what to check

What F94 actually means

The oven's temperature sensor is sending a reading the control board doesn't believe, so it flags a warning.

This appliance uses a PT500 temperature sensor to tell the control board how hot the cavity is. F94 (which some interfaces show as F194) means that sensor's signal has gone outside the range the board expects — either far too high, far too low, or missing altogether. It starts as a warning rather than a hard stop, but the documents are clear that if the condition persists for around five minutes the board escalates it, switches off the heating output and shows the related out-of-range alarm instead. At that point nothing will get hot.
