What F13 actually means

The door is shut, but the machine cannot get the lock to engage \u2014 so it refuses to start filling.

Before a Hisense washer dryer takes any water, it locks the door and waits for confirmation that the lock has engaged. With F13 that confirmation never arrives, so the cycle is abandoned at the very start and nothing else happens. Hisense list it as a door locking fault: the door is closed but cannot be locked.

Worn or sticking door latch mechanism
Failed door interlock (the part that locks the door and reports back to the control board)
Wiring or control board fault preventing the lock signal reaching the machine

Open the door, check nothing is caught in the seal or hanging over the edge of the drum, and close it firmly until you hear it click
