What F20 actually means

The washing machine's display board has lost contact with its Wi-Fi module, so the connected/app side of the machine isn't talking to the controls.

On these Hisense machines, F20 is raised when the display board cannot communicate properly with the Wi-Fi module fitted to it. The note say this code normally only appears during factory and board test routines, so seeing it on a machine at home usually points to a loose or unseated plug at the Wi-Fi module, or a fault on the display board itself. Washing performance is not affected by the fault itself \u2014 it is the smart/connectivity side that has dropped out.
