What F51 actually means

What F51 looks like on a Hisense washing machine
Most people find this page having searched for what the machine is doing rather than the code itself. On a Hisense washing machine, F51 usually shows up as one or more of these:
- Not filling with water
- No water going in
- Takes for ever to fill

- Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, then power up and start a cycle again — if it was a one-off glitch it may clear
- If the code returns straight away, note it down along with the model and serial number from the nameplate ready for the engineer
