What E00 actually means

E00 isn't a fault at all — it's the machine telling you its error memory is empty.

Beko washer dryers store the last few faults so an engineer can read them back in the service information mode. When the display shows 00:00, or E00, it means that particular memory slot holds no error record. In other words the control board has nothing logged, so there is nothing to diagnose from the code itself.

What E00 looks like on a Beko washer dryer

Door won't lock or click shut

What usually causes it

The machine has been put into service information mode, deliberately or by an odd button combination during a cycle
No faults have ever been recorded, or the memory was cleared after a previous repair
A button press sequence at switch-on has tripped the diagnostic display rather than a normal programme

What you can safely check yourself

Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.

Turn the programme dial to Off, switch off at the wall for a minute, then switch back on and select a normal programme — information mode also drops out on its own after a few minutes of inactivity
Check the drum is empty of anything that shouldn't be there and the door shuts firmly before restarting
