What E00 actually means
On a Beko washing machine E00 isn't a fault at all — it means the delay timer has been wound back to zero hours.
The display shows the delay time you've dialled in. If you press the Time Delay button round past the highest setting, or tap it repeatedly to cancel a countdown, it lands on zero and shows E00 with all the delay indicator lights off. The machine is telling you there is no delay left, so the programme will run straight away.
What usually causes it
- The Time Delay button pressed once too many times, taking the delay round to zero
- Cancelling a delayed start that was already counting down
- Accidentally catching the delay button while loading or setting a programme
- Children or a cleaning cloth pressing the control panel
What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Choose your wash programme again and press Start/Standby — the machine should begin normally
- If you did want a delayed start, press the Time Delay button to set the hours you want and check the delay lights come on
- If you set the delay to zero without pausing first, leave the buttons alone for a few seconds and the wash will start on its own
- If the display seems stuck, switch off at the wall for a minute, then power up and reselect the programme
