What E15 actually means

The machine has lost a sensible signal from the flowmeter — the small sensor that counts how much water is coming into the machine — so it stops rather than fill blind.

E15 is logged when that sensor's circuit reads as open or short — in other words, the board is getting no signal at all or a nonsensical one. Look along the fill hose for kinks or crushing behind the machine
Switch off at the wall for a minute, then power back up and start a short cycle to see if the code returns
