What F07 actually means
The machine can't tell how much water is in the drum, so it refuses to run a programme.
F07 is the water level (pressure) sensor fault on Beko washers. Because the control board has no trustworthy level reading, it assumes the drum may be overfilled — so it pumps out instead of filling, and the programme never gets going. The usual complaint we hear is that it drains every time it's switched on and then sits there doing nothing.
What usually causes it
- The level sensor's plug has worked loose or come off its socket
- A failed water level sensor
- Blocked or split pressure hose between the tub and the sensor
- On models with Aquastop, water leaking around the Aquastop assembly
- Less often, a fault on the electronic control board
What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, then switch it back on and try a short programme — occasional one-off readings do clear.
- Look underneath and around the machine and behind it for any sign of water or damp; if the inlet hose has an Aquastop head, check that area is dry.
- Check the drain hose isn't kinked or pushed too far down the standpipe, as siphoning can confuse the level reading.
- Clean the pump filter at the bottom front and make sure the drum isn't holding standing water.
