What E15 actually means
The machine can't get a proper reading from the sensor that measures how much water is coming in, so it stops rather than risk filling wrongly.
Beko machines use a flowmeter (a small water meter on the inlet) to count how much water enters the drum. E15 means the control board is seeing either a short circuit or a break in that flowmeter circuit, so it has no reliable idea how much water it has taken in. Without that reading it won't run the programme.
What usually causes it
- Loose or corroded plug on the flowmeter or the control board
- Faulty flowmeter unit
- Damaged wiring between the flowmeter and the board
- Water ingress or a leak around the inlet area affecting the sensor
- Control board fault
What you can safely check yourself
Work through these in order. Anything beyond this — panels off, testing parts, anything to do with the wiring — is an engineer's job, and not one to attempt with the machine plugged in.
- Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute, then switch back on and try a short programme — occasionally clears a one-off glitch
- Check the inlet hose isn't kinked and the water tap is fully open
- Make sure the machine hasn't been recently moved in a way that could have tugged the hoses

This one usually needs an engineer once you have tried the checks above.
