What E82 actually means

The machine has found a fault in the electronic switch on its main control board that powers the door lock, so it stops the programme rather than run with a door it can't reliably lock or release.

Blomberg's own service notes describe E82 as a short circuit on the door lock triac — the small switching device on the control board that sends power to the door interlock. Because the board can no longer be sure the door is being locked and unlocked when it should be, it abandons the cycle. Typically the programme stops part way through, and in some cases the door stays locked afterwards.

Turn the machine off at the wall socket for a minute, then switch back on and try a short programme — if the code was a one-off glitch it may clear.
Check the door is properly shut and not being held open by a trapped item of laundry, then restart.
