What is actually happening

Where the water shows itself matters more than how much there is. Water at the front under the door points at the door seal; water at the back points at hose connections; water appearing from underneath the middle during a spin is the one to take seriously, because it often means the outer drum seal has gone and the bearings are being washed.

The Beko fault codes that point at this

A Beko washing machine will usually tell you what it thinks is wrong before anyone opens it up. These are the codes we hold for this make that relate to leaking water:

E04 — The machine has spotted a fault in the electronics that switch the water inlet valves, so it has stopped rather than risk filling uncontrollably.
E06 — The control board has spotted a fault in the part that drives the drum motor, so the machine has stopped rather than risk running the motor out of control.
E12 — The machine thinks it has too much water in it, so it has shut the wash down and is draining instead of washing.
E14 — The machine has spotted an electrical fault in the circuit that drives its jet (recirculation) pump — the pump that sprays water back over the laundry — and has stopped rather than run the wash blind.
E15 — The machine can't get a proper reading from the sensor that measures how much water is coming in, so it stops rather than risk filling wrongly.
E24 — The machine can't get a reading from the sensor that works out how much washing is in the drum, so it stops rather than guess.
E27 — The machine has spotted water where it shouldn't be — either a leak inside, or water draining away on its own — and has shut the cycle down to protect itself.
E70 — The machine has lost a sensible signal from the sensor that monitors its AquaTech water-recirculation system, so it has stopped the programme.

The usual causes on a Beko washing machine

A split or perished door seal, or one with grit or a chewed section in the folds
A loose or perished hose connection at the back, or the outlet hose working loose from the standpipe
A blocked detergent drawer overflowing during fill
A failed outer drum seal — this usually comes with a grinding noise on spin, and means bearings
A cracked pump housing or filter seated on a damaged O-ring after cleaning

What you can safely check yourself

Pull the machine out and look while it fills and again during the spin — note where the water first appears
Wipe right around the inside of the door seal with a cloth and feel for grit, tears or a chewed patch
Check the filter cap is seated square and fully tightened if it has recently been cleaned
