Out-of-warranty Hotpoint repairs, done locally
If your Hotpoint appliance is still under the manufacturer's warranty, go to Hotpoint first — you should not be paying for that repair. Once it is out of warranty, you do not have to use them, and you will usually wait less and pay less if you do not.
We are a local firm with over 50 years in the trade, covering Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. The engineer who comes out is one of ours, not a subcontractor from a national call centre.
What it costs
£66 including VAT for an engineer to come out and diagnose the fault — that is the visit and the diagnosis, not a call-out fee with more on top. If it is repaired on the visit and needs no parts, the total is £84 including VAT. Any parts needed are quoted on site before we fit them — you decide.
Nothing is taken when you book, and every repair carries a 90-day workmanship guarantee — if our work is at fault in that time we come back and put it right at no charge.
Hotpoint error codes, explained
We hold Hotpoint's own service documentation, so these are what the codes actually mean rather than a guess. Worth a read before you call anyone — some of them you can clear yourself in five minutes.
